Fiskar

Privacy

Short version: your code, prompts and screens never reach a server of ours.

Your code stays yours

Your apps are built on your own Mac, in a folder there, and saved to your own private GitHub repositories. Fiskar has no servers that see your code, your prompts or your screens.

The phone talks straight to your Mac

  • On the same Wi-Fi: over HTTPS, locked to your Mac's own certificate. The pairing code carries it, so nothing else can pretend to be your Mac.
  • Anywhere else: over Tailscale, a private network between your own devices.
  • Notifications go through ntfy, encrypted on your Mac with keys only your phone has. ntfy carries them without being able to read them.

Claude

Claude Code runs on your Mac with your own Claude sign-in. What it sends to Anthropic is between you and Anthropic, under your plan's terms. Fiskar never sees your Claude or GitHub password and keeps no token of its own.

What this website keeps

  • The waitlist: your name, email, the page you joined from and your country (from Cloudflare; your IP address isn't kept). Used only to invite you to the beta.
  • A bot check by Cloudflare Turnstile when you join.
  • Downloads of Fiskar for Mac note when an invite code was used.

No ads and no tracking scripts. Feedback and crash reports you choose to send from the app are saved on your Mac.
